Klaus

This animated original comes from Despicable Me co-creator Sergio Pablos and features a fantastic cast of voice actors including Jason Schwartzman, Rashida Jones and J.K. Simmons. It’s also about a postal employee, but I’m going to give it the benefit of the doubt that it’s jam-packed with Christmas magic.

Jingle Jangle

“Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey” is both modern and, at the same time, pleasantly old-fashioned in its magical tale, elaborate sets and wardrobes, and ensemble musical numbers. Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey captures a certain essence of the Christmas spirit. It’s equal parts joyful and sentimental, steeped in tradition but made new again with sweet surprises that can be treasured for years to come. 2020’s been hard enough as it is. Give yourself the early Christmas gift of watching it to kick off this year’s festivities.

The Polar Express

This movie always has a high rate on the top 10 best Christmas movies on Netflix. The story is about a young boy who boards a train and embarks on an extraordinary journey to the North Pole to meet Santa Claus. His life takes a turn after he encounters special people that make his journey memorable. Great animation, voice work, and a heartwarming story are mixed perfectly in this flick. Don’t miss it for your Christmas night, believe me, The Polar Express worth your time.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas

In this live-action adaptation of the beloved children’s tale by Dr. Seuss, the reclusive green Grinch decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville. Reluctantly joined by his hapless dog, Max, the Grinch comes down from his mountaintop home and sneaks into town to swipe everything holiday-related from the Whos. However, the bitter grump finds a hitch in his plans when he encounters the endearing Cindy Lou Who.

Christmas Chronicles

The next movie in the list of Christmas movies on Netflix, we have The Christmas Chronicles. The movie is purely entertainment, suitable for a friend gathering night. Christmas Chronicles also includes family elements and life lessons like a lot of other Christmas movies, but for me, these two factors weren’t exploited well. After finishing the movie, all I can remember is the funny scene, not the movie message. But that was me, maybe you will have other feelings about this movie. Anyway, for entertaining purposes, this is not a bad option. Get on this movie and I swear you can laugh till the tears rolled down your face.

The Princess Switch

Vanessa Hudgens stars as not one but two characters — and yes, one of them is a princess. Taking inspiration from Mark Twain’s The Prince and the Pauper, The Princess Switch sees talented baker Stacy take the place of Lady Margaret Delacourt, Duchess of Montenaro, who’s desperate for time out of the spotlight. But things get complicated (as well as sweet, charming, and all that good stuff) when she discovers a normal life might be a permanent dream.
